Right, so this is a very good video. This is a video of a guy called Bryan Berg, who set the world record for the highest card structure at the age of 17 (measuring 14ft 6inches). He has since continued his love of card stacking, stacking almost everyhwere, He's beat his own record gaining another few feet on top, at a now staggering 25foot... Well just over. Here he makes a replica of the Captiol Building, and what a good replica it is!

"Can" you get it in?

Posted by Phil under ,
Excuse the terrible pun, but I could hardly stop myself. This is a lot like my last post of ping pong shots. It is basically people throwing cans into a bin from obscure angles. It's rather good, obviously lots of tries were done, but it is still very entertaining, and make you want to get off your lazy you tube watching but to try it out!

Extreme Beer Pong

Posted by Phil under , , ,
This is one of my personal favorites. This guy, Billy Marks, decides it would be a novel idea to try and get a ping pong ball to bounce into a small beaker containing water (so it doesn't bounce out again), from various, seemingly impossible angles. He films this, and this is the result. It kept me glued, and a very large amount of the you tube population too. Must be worth watching.

This is quite a shocking, and yet amazing video to watch. It demonstrates the things that people have to do to make ends meat in the third world countries. The main thing about this though is that the man in the video here manages to balance 22 red clay bricks on his head, and carry them off the boat. Which quite simply, is amazing. Taking the fact that an average clay brick is about 6lbs (2.7 kg), he is carrying a whopping 132lbs (59.4 kg), roughly 9.5 stone, on his head. Which is quite a feat. This video was shot in Khulna, Bangladesh.

So Yo-Yo's have been around for quite some time. They come and go like every other fad does, and we replace it with something new and shiny like a Diablo (What a dangerous substitution that was). Well this kid decided to rebel against the crowd, and stick to his Yo-Yo. What a smart move that was, as he is now rather talented with it, and from his T-shirt, I'd say some sort of sponsorship is involved? Could be wrong. Oh and if you were wondering, his name is Grant Johnson, follow him at twitter if you care to, follow the YouTube link. Anyhow, enjoy!

This is a nice video that someone, who I can only assume is called Lasse Gjertsen (?), made. He simply recorded himself playing each note once, then edited it all together to make a song. It's a very nice bit of editing, and is very well done. Hope you like it.

Music using XP/98 sounds

Posted by Phil under , , ,
For anyone who is interested in music, and also computers; this is likely to be right up your street! This is a video (video is not really needed in this instance), of someone who made a song, about 1:31 in length, completely base on the system sounds that come with windows XP and 98. If you really like the song, follow it to YouTube and you can get yourself a copy of the MP3, there is a link in the sidebar.

French Beatboxer

Posted by Phil under , ,
Another beat-boxing video. This is a french beat-boxer who's name I am yet to find out, and he is performing on a french equivalent of pop idol or x-factor perhaps. All I know is that he is very good. He performs a few popular titles that many of people will know. Enjoy!

This is essentially a prank that was pulled on the whole of Grand Central pulled by a group know as "Improv Everywhere". 207 "agents" (people who are in on the idea) decide to freeze, and stay frozen for 5 minutes in this busy area. It's very well done, yes there is eye movement from one lady. But overall it's done brilliantly.

This is simply as the title descrives, a man playing the flute, and also beatboxing at the same time. This has become a rather popular video, simply because what is actually being done is somewhat unheard of, and also very difficult to do. The person playing the flute is called Greg Pattillo, and as you can see is very talented.

Dan Osman - Speed Climb

Posted by Phil under , , ,
This is a video of the late Dan Osman, who in this video climbed Bear's Reach 5.7, Lover's Leap, California, USA. He did this with no rope, and it took him a mere 4:25 seconds. Granted in terms of climbing this is not particularly a hard climb, but in 4 minutes, and without a rop, with a small dyno, it's an impressive feat!

PS: Video is viewable in HQ if you so desire.

Ninja Tryouts!

Posted by Phil under ,
Well, basically this is a video of people who were auditioning to be Ninja's for some reason (probably as an extra or something, not yet worked it out). They aren't what I would call the best of Ninja's, have a look and see what I mean...

In this video, the boxer - Tyson Fury, some how manages to hit himself in the face during a heavyweigh wrestling match.

Throw in to face

Posted by Phil under , , ,
In this video during a football game a footballer partakes in a rather controversial throw in. The result was not as particulary successful as he thought it would be.

This is Jorge José Emiliano dos Santos, aka Margarida (This was his nickname - "Daisy" in English). He was a referee some time ago now, he had a very comical way of refereeing, and so became popular through this. This is a very under rated video for what it's worth.

As a side note, he died very young from AIDS, so RIP.
Again, another entry featurting Travis Pastrana (He just happens to do good things, not a personal fettish). This time he decides it'd be a fantastic idea to jump out of a plane without a parachute?! What a novel idea. Anyway, have a watch, it's entertaining.

This is simply an amazing stop motion video, that is very clever in everything that it does. It is 4 minutes long, and going by the rule of thumb that it's about 150 pictures per 10 seconds, it's a lot of drawing. How long it actually took him I am unsure, anyone have any idea on the actual time? It was all done on a whiteboard to make it easier to wipe off, and do all the things that he did. Enjoy!

Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger. A performance of the whole song done via the medium of hands. The words are written on parts of the hands, just watch to see what I mean. Very clever, very innovative, and entertaining. If you don't like this song, probably best you don't listen to this, as it's the whole song.

Also commonly known as daft hands, but anyways, hope you enjoyed!
This is a severely under-rated tricycle backflip that was done by Travis Pastrana, a Motor-X legend. It's entertaining, impressive, and simply brilliant. I challenge anyone to combat this statement with a 40ft backflip over a mega ramp, on a tricycle of their own! Though your entertainment value would be somewhat lacking as it has already been done now...

For those interested there are previous attempts, but unfortunatley I could not find a version that allowed embedding. The original is viewable on youtube. Just search for "tricycle backflip"
This was an advert quite a while ago for one of Microsoft's products (cannot remember which, clarification would be lovely). Some people claim it is fake, some people claim it is real. Feel free to leave your opinions on the matter in the comments below ;).

This was a world record high dive that was performed by Dana Kunze. it was in  high diving competition, and he managed to do this spectacular dive at 172 feet! Press play to check it out!
